Fronius Symo Advanced Inverters

The Fronius Symo Advanced opens the next chapter in the Fronius SnapINverter portfolio. The Symo Advanced includes new Fronius Arc Guard safety technology, protecting against a potential cause of fire.

Arc Guard

The new Fronius Arc Guard technology protects against dangerous arcs. The algorithm developed by Fronius reliably detects arcs and switches the photovoltaic system off before a fire can occur. Fronius Arc Guard is being continuously trained by the manufacturer to make the Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter more precise and to optimise system protection.

SuperFlex Design

Easily plan complex roofs thanks to the SuperFlex Design. Flexible stringing is possible thanks to a wide range of input voltages as well as support for very high PV module currents.

Communications

All sizes are available with or without comms. 'With comms' units include WLAN and Ethernet plus easy integration of third-party components. 'Light' units can be upgraded to add comms later by installing the data manager card (see related products). Systems with multiple units may only require one unit with comms, see Fronius documentation for details.
